ENG VERSION

....As always, searching for what captures my curious and difficult attention, along the exhibition route I encounter a pair of artists with whom I enjoy spending time: Siru Tuomisto and Angelo Asaro. With the former, a Finnish artist-designer, I discuss the second chances that can be given to things and people, which sometimes constitute not the end, but optimistically, the beginning of something new, inherent in the process of change. Her approach to art is original; each object tells a story, an innovative approach to materials, thoughts, and feelings. I'm amused by his 'Enlightened Iceman' for what it evokes in me, for the colors and shapes and reused materials, all harmoniously stylized according to a perfect creative formula. Further on, I stop at the Italian engineer with whom I share not only the scientific method but also a passion for art, to which he says he has been dedicating himself exclusively for years now. We talk at length about the two works on display, about how unique they are, especially 'Ready-Made Thoughts', a surreal interweaving that pushes me to give a subjective interpretation to the geometrically perfect painted symbols and figures, juxtaposed, like that flower, the rose, exhausted, almost withered by the media bombardment that homogenizes thoughts, rendering them useless. The concepts are clear and well-defined, aiming to suggest resilient criticism, which stands out with authenticity by resisting the banality of common opinion. I'm fascinated by the presence of all these craftsmen...
